Our precious Riley turned one the day before Thanksgiving so we decided to celebrate both things togher. Thanksgiving pictures and Birthday pictures are all interspersed so you will have to look at all of them...

Riley's cake was really cute and bright in polka dots and pink and Jessie and I had a great time making the little turkey favors...

My sweet friend, Terri Shivers, from Ohio shared this adorable turkey idea with us...

...and since Carole's thoughtful birthday gift to Riley matched the cake I had to include it in this picture...

OK, I think Kevin possibly has the most amazing eyes in the world, they are gorgeous, and see how cute the turkeys look with Greg and him?

Jessie set up a little Fisher Price Christmas village and the girls saw it for the first time. Both little girls were quite suspicious at first...

...but they finally figured out it was OK to play with it and they had a lot of fun with the reindeers, Santa, carolers and little presents....

...in honor of Martha I decorated my pumpkin pies with these little leaf cutouts....isn't it pretty?

...and I tell Riley not to feel bad cuz we will open presents after we eat...

My sister, Judy, brought Steve and I funny little paper bags in honor of the Thanksgivings of our childhood. We would always have Thanksgiving dinner on base and we would always receive little paper bags filled with oranges, hard candy and nuts in the shell. I was quite excited to relive this holiday moment...

...and Judy was quite pleased with her creativity...

A favorite game of Julias is to pretend to sleep with Jessie so here they rest up before dinner and birthday presents...

...and Megan wonders when it will be time to eat...
